Tabebuia, commonly known as trumpet trees, are spectacular tropical flowering trees known for their explosive, often leafless, spring blooms in shades of pink, yellow, or white. Primarily native to Central/South America, these trees reach 20–50 feet tall and thrive in full sun and well-drained soil.
It's spring in central Florida with pink and yellow tabebuia or trumpet trees in blooms. For a brief time, the blossoms appear like magic. I can never get enough of blossoming trees. I just want to drive and hunt for them.
Here at the condo, the garden in the center of our wrapped condo building has azaleas in bloom.
I hope you are enjoying spring in all its new life wherever you are.

Oh, those glorious pinks! It will be awhile before we see them, so thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful to see Carol, loving your photos!
ReplyDelete...Carol, azaleas are among my favorites.
ReplyDeleteIt will be quite some time yet before azaleas bloom in my neck of the woods and when they do they are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous trees. The pink blooms compliment the blue skies perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI was out today and noticed the blossom starting to appear on trees, what a lovely sight!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteI love spring for all the flowering trees.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Good shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Those tabebuia trees are absolute showstoppers in full bloom. They're all over the place here, too!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, thank you for your lovely comment and visit to one of my websites. And your photos gave me true spring feelings.
ReplyDeleteTabebuia trees are new to me. Beautiful blooms! Our azaleas won't bloom until May where I live, so I enjoy seeing blooms from warmer places at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures. I do love the pops of colour that spring brings. 🌸 Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Blossoming trees are wonderful. A great sign of spring and warmer days to come 🌸
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos! I love seeing trees in bloom. I just noticed yesterday that we finally have some buds peeking out on most of our trees.
ReplyDeleteWe have a large Rhododendron garden in the next large town over from our little spread in the road. Two years running we have traveled to see them in bloom, and missed it each time. There were blooms, but for the most part each was past their prime. So I do understand the beauty of a blooming tree! Visiting from #MMBC
ReplyDeleteThe county I lived in up to 2 years ago, planted rhododendrons in the green space in the middle of multiple lane highways. Going from empty branches to flowers made driving a joy. I'd love to visit a town full of flowering rhododendron or really any flowering bush or tree.
